Hi Gurus,

In case of import PO, if we use exchange rate at PO header, price in all condition type get converted taking reference of mentioned exchange rate. In PO header we need to maintain exchange rate given by Customs. But as day to day RBI exchange rate is different (maintained in OB08), we must consider RBI exchange rate for all condition types excluding the Customs condition type.

Requirement- Need configure condition type in a way that it will pick the exchange rate (from OB08) on the PO creation date.

Thanks in Advance.

Hi,

I think its a general case - You can not anticipate the exchange rate on GR date / customs invoice date at the time of PO creation itself and its not feasible to change the exchange rate in the PO frequently. Instead, when you do GR or IR, system will consider the exchange rate based on the date and it will give the exact figure - no need to worry about PO.

If you think I am not clear, kindly explain in detail.

Prasoon

Do not maintain any exchange rate type during PO creation and see how your conditions types are behaving in your PO !

Do you have any option to have exchange rate type for condition type in M/06?
