CRM 2007 Services billing

Hi

Just wanted to share general experiences for CRM Billing in CRM 2007. We are billing service confirmations after they have the status as completed (sy status I1005). But for it to show on the billing due list these SC items have to be 'released for billing' or the status of these items has to change from I1005 to I1094. I am using only one item per SConf.

Now as soon as we set the SConf to completed, i am not able to see these items with I1005 status in table CRM_JEST (We need to enter the GUID of the item). They exist but with other status like I1004, etc and this is not the case with all Sconfs, some exist and some don't upon completion.

Of those which exist i am able to release them for billing BUT now the table /1BEA/CRMB_DLI doesn't get updated with these line items so i cannot maintain a billing due list. I tried updating this table with report /1BEA/R_CRMB_DL_CREATE and create items inside this table which i am able to bill or maintain a BDL for that.

If anyone of you have/had successful experiences with CRM billing of services in CRM 2007 i would appreciate if you can share.

You need to release the relevent documents for billing first.

Hi , This problem was resolved. We has a BADI in place which was blocking the BDoc to Billing engine.

Hi Robin,

I am working on service order process where i need to do billing for service order items after completion.

But the problem here is if i select Transaction-Related Billing After Completion for item category, it is not available in Billing due list.

But if i select Transaction-Related Billing According to Order Quantity it is appearing in Billing due list.

Can you please let me know where i am missing out.

Hi Robin,

We are working on the CRM Billing 5.0, I require some understanding as to how can we restrict the service orders to get reflected in billing due list.

Our requirement is that on one user status only the service orders should be generated in billing due list..
