Release Notes for Enhancement Packs

Hello,

I am looking for assistance in tracking down release notes for ECC6.0 Enhancement Pack (EP) 1 and 3 release notes. I note release notes are available for EP2 under service.sap.com/releasenotes however helpfully there are no release notes for EP1 or EP3. I found the release notes for EP2 very helpful so some documentation in a similar format would be ideal. The SAP documentation (master guides etc.) does point you to this location so I am hopeful...

By the way...

I have found some useful documentation in the "Media Library" section of service.sap.com/erp-ehp for all four EPs however it is not at the level of detail of the release notes.

I have also looked at Solution Browser and, apart form the level of detail not being appropriate, there quite a number of changes which I find easier to manage if set out within release notes rather than having to trawl through Solution Browser (which you can't download).

Hi Daniel,

the release notes for EhP3 will be available soon (Ehp3 is still in Ramp Up).

Does it mean that EHP3 is still not available? when will it be??

Hi Daniel

the Master Guide references the central starting point (service.sap.com/erp-ehp) several times - mentioned in Christian's answer to answer your question.

It furthermore references different type of Release Information notes (right under "Important Notes"), and minimum support package notes.

Since enhancement package 3 information of type release note is not any longer scope of these guides, but of .../erp-ehp and related.

Looking at the Solution Browser delta between ECC6 and EhP1 gives a reasonable idea of the content of EhP1 but does not seem to tie in to the release notes for EhP2. I think the best we are going to be able to do is use Solution Broswer for EhP1 and the detailed presentations to drive our investigations.

Hi Daniel,

EhP1 was somehow "special" - technically it was built in another way and later on retrofited.

However the EHP2 Release Notes should contain the functional descriptions of EhP1.
