For a long time we have been using batch input (RZ11-based) to set parameter rdisp/max_wprun_time in our BW systems to limit resource consumption from 9 to 5, resetting timeout to zero during data loads at night.
Since we upgraded to 7.40 our batch input program became useless due to GUI controls added to transaction RZ11, as described in some posts I found in SAP forums. It is terminated with RAISE_EXCEPTION error since there is no active GUI session in background.
I would appreciate some advices on how to automate the change of that profile parameter in background. I must warn that I am not a skilled ABAP developer. I am only a begginer, but I can get your ideas and find my way through them.
