What is the correct user/middleware configuration for scheduling Crystal Reports from BOE4.2

Hello,

I need users to be able to save/import Crystal Report into the BOE environment and then schedule as needed. These users don't have CMC. Some users have privileges to execute stored procedures and some do not. We are currently using LDAP - Active Directory and do not have SSO.

I've tried combinations of:

- setting the user database credentials in the user settings--- after filling in this information I still don't see that requests are run under these credentials.

- configuring the ODBC to be dedicated user (sql server auth)

- configuring the ODBC to windows auth (using the BOE service acct which has database access). -- this allows them to schedule successfully but under the service account which has stored procedure privileges. Not all users are supposed to have stored procedure rights.

What am I missing?

Since you are not using SSO you would get a better response in the BI administration tag. I'll ask a moderator to change it. I think when scheduling even from launchpad there is an option to provide credentials for the report, but I'll try to get you in the admin tag where they handle these types of requests
