Gamification API - Trial vs Production account

We are currently developing a gamification application that uses the SAP Gamification API service. To start we are using and exploring the trial account. Therefore, we would like to know what are the differences between a trial account and a production/subscription account so we can accommodate the developments.

Can anyone help us? Or give us any insights about this topic?

Best Regards,

Sara Macedo

    Hi Sara,

A Neo Account will have differences with regards to the Compute Units, quotas, services that are assigned to it and how many people can access the apps and services you deploy on it.

A subscription to a production account on Neo will probably require the contract to explicitly state which services you are entitled (i.e.: Gamification). Once it is enabled, it will contain the "same" service as you will find on the Trial Account - as far as I could get info from the help sistem there are no differences for this specific service. The difference then would be that on trial you will be able to develop and test using a developer ID only. While for a productive account you will get more users (members) in the "play".

However, I strongly advise you to get in touch with a sales representative for any additional implications, contract licenses, princing, etc.
