Quota Corrections to reduce generated entitlement

Dear Expert,

We have been running leave and time in a third party system and is now shifting back to SAP. Payroll has been running on SAP since 2010.

All leave are in SAP and PT60 is also run. However there are differences in balance leave days in SAP and with the third party system which has the actual balance.

For example ,we have Annual Leave in SAP - balance as 40 days. Actual is only 25 .So we need to reduce it in SAP.

In Quality system Quota is generated till 28022017.

  1. I created Quota correction with date as 01032017. I clicked the radiobuttion 'Reduce generated Entitlement' and entered 15 days.
  2. I ran PT60 from 01032017 to 31032017 and TQTA.
  3. I checked IT 2006 which shows me -15 on 01032017 and then usual 2 days on 31032017.
  4. I go to IT2001 and tried to apply a leave which allows me to apply leave for 40 days, which means system balance did not reduce to 25 days.

Which step am I missing here?

    First things first

When you run PT60 for 01032017 check the log around where the QUOTA function is called

    Drill into table ABWKONTI.

What you want to see is a value of 40 on the Input and 25 in the Output for the appropriate quota type

If that is not the case your quota correction is not being processed. Experiment in PA30 IT2013 and see if you can get it processed. This is standard functionality and should work.

If you see 25 in the output then it looks like the issue is not with the Quota but more likely to be in your absence counting / deduction rules
