sale of asset /retirement of asset with or without revenue

hi all,

could any one tel me if it is possible to retire or sale of asset through sales order it it is could you pls tell me the process

Hi,

Retirement of asset can be processed through sales order. for that you need to create asset as material material code, price procedure, delivery, invoice that is length procedure.

Otherwise you can process through ABAON if there is no revenue from asset sale. If asset sale revenue is there then by F-92 is suitable.

Hi,

It is possible in a most complecated manner.

You have to do the following process.

1. You have to create a seperate customer account assignment group and assign the same to FA customer or you can create a material account assignment group and assign it to a dummy material (created for FA sales). This is to make the setting in VKOA to hit the different GL account (Say Sale of fixed assets)

2. Upload the quantity by using the T code MB1C for that material with Zero value.

3. Create the Sales Order with reference to this material with Sales value.

4. Make the Delevery / Billing

5. Retire the Asset without revenue (ABAVN)

The link between asset and material will be a manual one.
