RFC for SAP Screen Personas and Fiori Integration - SSO issue

Hi Team,

We have simplified some of the standard transactions in S4HANA backend using SAP screen personas and integrated that into our fiori frontend system. We are using hub deployment solution where the screen personas add-on is installed on the backend.

The LPAD customization in the fiori system is referring to the RFC destination with type H which is pointing to S/4 HANA backend. Whenever the tile is called in Fiori, a link pointing to S/4 is opened which shows the ITS login page for user id and password. However,we are getting the screen personas screen as expected if the user id and password is given. This means the SSO (Single Sign On) between fiori back-end and the front-end doesnt work.

We would like to have the target screen opened without requesting for user id and password issue. Does it require any additional configuration?

Any suggestions please?

Best Regards,

Hi Ram,

we are facing the same issue at the moment. Unfortunately I can't help at this stage and just want to express my sympathy to you, working on it. If i know the solution i will post it immediately, would love if you could do the same.

Hey all,

our intention was to use SAP Logon Tickets issued from Frontend for authentication at the ICF Services (personas..) on the backend. Here at the customer, we have different DNS domains for frontend and backend servers. We can't use MYSAPSSO2 because of that. Cookie relaxation for AS ABAP is not possible (like in AS Java). Currently we are configuring the backend for SAML authentication, should do the trick.

Cheers, Carsten
