Moving from Intranet Implementation to FPN

Hello Guru's,

In our Implementation we are not using Federated Portal Network, instead we are on Intranet, and now we want to move the implementation to use Federated Portal Netwrok, to do this, what all have to be done:

1) Change in Architecute (is it needed? if so what changes has to be done)

2) what will be the problems when moving from Intranet Implementation to Federated Portal Network.

3) What all have to be done to move to FPN.

Help me out in this.
