linking material group to valuation class

Where to link material group to valuation class in configuration ? And material group to G/L account ..

Hi

Material group is linked to valuation class in OMQW.

Valuation class is assigned to GL in OBYC.

I don't believe you link the Material Group to Val Class or GL accounts.

You can only link the Material Type to the Val Class.

The Material is linked to the Material Group and each material has a Val Class... however, materials with different Val Classes can be linked together by a Material Group, e.g., Finished Goods Own Produced and Finished Product Bought In. They can both be assigned to the Mat Group "Finished Goods", but can have different Val Classes.

Similarly, the materials, and not Material Groups, are assigned to GLs.
