Adding a journal with a vat group SAP 2005 SP01 PL36

Hi

I am trying to create a journal entry with a vat group using the di api. I can create the Journal Entry without the VAT group but as soon as I add the vat group I get the error message "The Connected value I1 was not found in table Tax Definition"

I have manually added a journal with the I1 tax group ok.

Can anyone help me please ?

Hi Paul,

i had a similar problem last week:

it has something to do if you have oJE.AutoVAT = tNO or tYES

you can test it yourself - open the Journal Entries form and try to create a Journal Entry by hand.

once with AutoVat CheckBox activated and once deactivated.

you will notice that you have different VatGroup depending on the checkbox.
