how to debug a repository service

Hi,

It is the same way you debug a portal component, so no difference.

sorry for my beginner questions, but in sap help in chapter "Setting up the J2EE Engine for Debugging" under number one "Start the Config tool and connect to the J2EE Engine database.".

Where will I find this config tool?

Hi,

You can find it under:

c:\usr\sap\F02\JC00\j2ee\configtool --> configtool.bat

Just run the configtool.bat or configtool.sh depending on your OS.
