Regarding cost center

hi guys

I do have doubts regarding Cost center in Pipeline process

in Transaction code MB1A if i give my own cost center it

gives the following error..becos i havent created cost center

Cost center YR01/1222 does not exist on 22.04.2008.

Message no. KI222

Diagnosis

Cost center 1222 in controlling area YR01 does not exist on 22.04.2008. The SAP System determined controlling area YR01 automatically from the company code (and business area).

Procedure

Create the cost center.

Alternately, assign to an existing cost center, order, or project.

what are the measure to be taken for creating a cost center!

create cost center with tcode KS01

make sure you should enter the from date is always atleast one month back date

e.g. if you are creating today thatn you should enter the from date as 03/22/08

just enter the reqd fields and cost center category must be logistic of production'
