Hi,

That's what i am trying to say that the note is applicable for SP11 only ..and also we are not using of the special fields mentioned in the Note.

ECC6.0/EP7/SP12 is our system

Restating j2ee engine wont help.

this is with respect to the changed structure of 2001 infotype.

check in your pa2001 strucutre do you see the field with name umskd that is Code for description of illness.

if you donot find the above field then check your java apps the versions of java apps would be hire then the recommendations with respect to R/3 patch.

what abt your backend EA HR? Please check it it should be above the SP level as the Note says.

Also you need to be on SP 12, Also restart the J2ee Engine too.

The Note should solve the issue

But did you apply the frontend changes too? The note will resolve the issue if you apply both the front end and backend changes it should solve it.

resolve the issue by applying latest portal patch for SAP

ESS 600 SP 11 and patch for SAP PCUI_GP 600 SP 11.

Then a restart of the Java engine solved the problem
