Shelf life - Master data setting

We need to make use of parameter "Maximum Earliness for a receipt " in product location master to take care of Shelf Life issue in CTM SNP run.

While taking run we are finding that whatever setting ( eg. ignore order creation frame in Master data setting) we make in CTM profile, CTM is respecting

Order Creation Frame as defined in Global Setting for CTM.Our requirement is that CTM should

respect values maintained in product location master for Maximum Earliness.

Sorry if I misled you in the last query you raised on this.

The other thing you need to note is that it is the cumulative earliness in the supply chain of the finished product that needs to be the shelf life. Eg. say the finished product waits in factory for 1 day before ship off, waits at DC for 2 days, travel time from factory to DC is 3 days then cumulative time is 6 days. Shelf life has to be > 6 days. So please be careful when you use earliness as a proxy of shelf life.

In your CTM Profile do you have the setting "Use Value from Product Master" set against the MAximum Earliness field on the Supplies tab?
