BCS 6.0 load consolidation movement type

Hello,

We are now implementing SEM-BCS 6.0 in the BI 7.0 server and we have some doubts about consolidation movement type.

We load this master data from R3 by Load From Data Stream method. We used the infoObject 0MOVE_TYPE and the Datasource 0MOVE_TYPE_TEXT.

After we execute the method to load consolidation movement type, we go to Master Data tab, Subassignments and we chose Movement Type. In this screen we have our movement’s types assignment to Nodes Note Allocated.

We don't know if is necessary to create a Hierarchy for movement’s types for map the nodes note allocated?

These are the steps to load consolidation movement types?

Can anyone said to me How/Where we load this master data?

Many Thanks,

João Fonseca

Hi Ricardo,

we use flexible uploads for master data in this case.

If you need an example, write me an email.

Movement ypes is a subassignment used for reporting and sometime for configuration of certain functions where more specific spearation of details is needed.

There is no specific requirement for having a Movement type hierarchy, but I have found it useful for configuration of functions mentioned abouve as well as for breakdown categories, to have a hierarchy to minimized maintenance of these configurations.
