Hi,
I have a key figure which is having a standard aggregation as SUM in the key figure definition.
This key figure is being used in my DSO and as expected summing up the records having same key value in the report.
Is there any possibility to apply exceptional aggregation to this key figure in the report itself so that i can get only the first record in the report output?
As i do not want to change the key figure properties.
Thanks and Best Regards,
Vikas Bittera.
Hi,
Try this
Goto --> New Selection/Formula --> Properties --> Tab Page: Aggragation -->
You can select the following settings in the Exception Aggregation field --> First Value (FIR).
select a characteristic from the Reference Characteristic field. The system will use this to calculate the formula before aggregation. In the Reference Characteristic field, you can select from all characteristics in the InfoProvider.

Thanks for the reply, Raj!!
I have already tried this, but this is not working. My understanding is that the aggregation is applied before passing the result set to the query.
So, the formula works on the aggregated records. I feel this is why i am getting incorrect result. But i am not 100% sure.
Thanks and Best Regards,
