Interface to transfer Accounting Data

Hi,

We have healthcare-System, where we do everything except the accounting part. The accounting is supposed to be done by SAP IS-H. Is there any way to feed SAP IS-H with accounting information (such as diagnosis, german disease codes,...).

I tried to look for BAPIs under ifr.sap.com. The site is off for a while already. Any how to browse the bapis for requirements like I have???

To give more recommendations I think it would be good if you could provide more specific information (e.g. which system, processes etc.)

regarding the ifr. Isn't there any directy or ctatlog online where I could browse through available bapis without having installed SAP or specific Industrial Solution. It was so nice!!

About the transfer: We are talking about a program for ambulant mediacal treatments, which usually does all the accounting itself. One of our customers uses SAP IS-H and wants use our programm for a fairly independent part of the hospital. However he still wants to do one single accounting, but use our programm for documentation, patient managemnt and so on. Now we have to deliver him all diagnosis and medical codings, so the SAP IS-H can include our data to do an overall accounting with the corresponding health insurances. Any idea how the feed the SAP IS-H with data. Usually I would go through the BAPIs and look for one, but I do not have a system up running.

Hi,

They are different methods of transfering the data.

1. BAPI

2. EDIFACT - SAP HCM

3. HL7

The usage are classified below.

BAPI are used for sensing, reporting, patient information to other clinical system and so on.

EDIFACT are used for claims processing, workload submission, DRG and so on.

HL7 - Service charges posting from external system based on ADT messages flowing out.
