SET_VIEW_EXCEL in CL_GUI_ALV_GRID

Hello,

I've tried to switch the ALV GRID with the method SET_VIEW_EXCEL to Excel Layout.

But there is an error: 'Access to proteced Method "SET_VIEW_EXCEL" is not allowed'.

What can I do?

Hi Gunter,

if the methos isn'r public you cannot use it in your program.

Try to create a Layout variant and use it . With method SET_VARIANT you can start your alv with saved variant.

I wonder that I can choose the method SET_VIEW_EXCEL via the templates although I can not use it.

But nevertheless I will use the SET_VARIANT method.
