mm issue

hI,

While creating sales order by entering plant,System showing error that enter valid plant.How i can solve this issue,please give me the solution.

Hi,

Please check wheather you are using correct plant,

If yes then

Plant is determined from

CMIR

Customer master

Material master..so maintain it.

Then also assign the sales org-DC-plant.

Then also go to MC.5 your material stock for that particular plant.

Check if Material is created for the Plant being referred. If not, in that case extend the Material Master through T.Code: MM01

I guess while creating the material you might not have not enter sales organisation & distribution channel while entering organisation level..Go to mm02 and extend the materia to the sales org & distbn chnl. ..

Hi rashmi,

Pls check the Material Master of that particular Material and check which Plant was the Maetrial created.

or Go to MMBE and check under which Plant does the Material exists and put the same Plant in the Sales Order.

In sap system will pick the plant (while creating sales order) in the following sequence

1. Customer Material Info Record (If it is maintained)

2. Customer Master

3. Material Master

I hope the plant is not permitted for the sales area which you are entering in the sales order

Try to find whether the plant is assigned to the relevant sales org and distribution channel
