Rite now I have been able to post a past date as del date in a current sales order .........past schedule line date and confirmed qty in schedule is also not greyed out and can be changed.......but when i go to del it says "only 0 ea of material available"
when there are more than one quantities avai in stock it picks up the del qty in del

Dear Maddy
If I understood your requirement clearly, you have a material with 1no. stock. You have some 10 sale orders for that particular material and when you are trying to create delivery for a particular order, you are not able to do so.
If this is what your question is then please check in VL21 whether any delivery is created already for that 1 no. and saved without doing PGI. For information, if delivery is created and saved without doing PGI, when stock is available, in MMBE, you can see the same in Unrestricted qty.

Hi,
Its a basic thing but still you can check.
You can goto MMBE and check if the stock has been assigned to some different plant or storage location than the one assigned in your order/delivery.
Also check if the available 1 qty has been assigned to some batch.
If the above cases are tru then you will definitely be not able to create you delivery.

Dear Maddy
If you run MD04, by giving the plant and material code for which 1 no. stock is available, it will list out all those sale orders. See against which sale order, the stock is confirmed. If you dont want to make delivery against that particular sale order, then go to va02, give another sale order reference and click for schedule lines. Now do availability check and try to create delivery.
thanks
