Could we assign more then one pur.org to one plant,if we do then how do they work.and what about company code?

Yes you can do that

if you assign P org to your copmany code than that Porg can only procure for those plant

if you dont assign Porg to the company code than it can procure for all the plant of diff company code by assign plant to Porg

if you want to assign more than one porg to plant than define you main Porg as standard Porg

and assign that

Assign standard purchasing organization to plant

Than assign all other Porg to std Porg in

Assign purch. organization to reference purch. organization
