Adding worksets/iViews - not showing up immediately

Just wondering if anyone else is having this problem.

More often than not I'll have a developer need to add a workset to a role, and

after adding it, it won't show up for some period of time.

Same goes for iViews.

I end up having to delete some other existing workset and causing the portal to throw a runtime error, before it realizes that something's missing and it should recheck for new items.

I've tried clearing cluster caches etc to resolve this, but that doesn't always work.

Is there any solution to somehow force the portal to update these items?

Hi,

I hope u have set the entry point property to yes in the properties of workset and iviews which u r adding to the role.

This is a common problem.

I hope it helps.
