ALE: Process Code for Error Processing Assignment

Dear Experts,

I am analyzing a case where an inbound Idoc's post-processing event is triggering a workitem of Task TS00008068 when it fails due to lack of partner profile (or any other error). Got to know that this is being triggered due to the Process Code 'EDII' (i.e. Inbound, error message with IDoc) maintained in Transaction WE46.

This Process code (EDII) is not maintained for any specific Inbound Status but somehow it gets triggered everytime an idoc fails during inbound processing.

Can you please tell where is this process code maintained ?

Is it maintained at Message Type level, similar to Inbound Process Codes in WE42 or is it the default Process Code for error processing for all the message types and therefore, cannot be skipped for certain desired message types?

Or there is any other configuration which is triggering the workitem?

Any pointer will be helpful in this regard.
