Document link sent via Mail gives login popup

Hi there,

I am exploring the KM feature of EP7 SP12 and came across a strange behaviour of EP.

I have Kerberos enabled in EP and is works fine. When a user sends a link of document using 'Mail to' option of KM the receiver gets the mail. Receiver when clicks on document link it asks for the authentication while when user clicks on details link which came along the mail, Kerberos works fine and the details screen is displayed properly.

Can anyone help me in finding why Kerberos is not working with document link but it works for folder link or details of document.

Hi,

the default configuration for the documents iView is to use basic authentication. If like to use Kerberos, you can change the authentiocation scheme for documents iView to 'defautl'.

The PCD path of the documents iView is "pcd: portal_content/ com.sap.pct/every_user/general/iViews/com.sap.km.i

views/com.sap.km.urlaccess/com.sap.km.docs" (or just search for iView ID "com.sap.km.docs")
