Downloading report from RFC destination to MS access database.

Hi,

I want know the steps to download the report from RFC destination to MS access database.

In my case i want to download the standard report IW47 to MS access database. I am basically a functional guy and want to know how i need to proceed for defining the RFC.

Kindly help me in this regard.

Why would you want to do this via RFC?

Wouldn't it be better just to execute the report, and download the list manually as text file and upload it into ms access??

Just creating an RFC destination won't do you no good. You still have to call a function module (RFC enabled) which retrieves the same data. Possibly a BAPI available for IW47?

Creating an RFC destination: transaction SM59, but you need data like hostname (ip address) and system number.

Next, how do you call the BAPI from MS access?

Your whole requirement sounds a bit confusing to me....But this could just be me....
