    Hi Sandeep,

could you please see the DMS WIKI pages under https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/wiki?path=/display/plm/sapDocumentManagement+%28CA-DMS%29 for information on the distribution of document info records.

Further I would recommend you to see also the SAP Online Documentation under http://help.sap.com and verify that you have maintained all the necessary settings for using document distribution.

Please note that it is quite necessary to maintain the first and last name for the recipients in SU01 and to maintain the value '2' for the parameter file processing for your distribution type. However you will find all this information in the online documentation.

    Best regards,

    Christoph

    • Hi Sandeep,

in this case I would kindly ask you to check the implementation of note 1008281 and further the flag

"Organizational Units" in transaction SO16. If this flag is not set, please set it and test the behavior afterwards again.

      Best regards,

      Christoph

P.S.: Please reward points for useful information.

Did you activate workflow through tcode SWU3? Most important is the RFC destination. (click on Maintain Runtime Environment > Configure RFC destination). You need enough access to create the RFC destination.

But make sure the checkmarks shown in this transaction are green.

    Hope it helps!
