hi friends there is any one who can provide me how to assign printer through boldspad .bold

if any one who can provide full screen shots .

also tell me the functionlaity of sp01.

send me detail asap.

why screen shots is needed?

check folloiwng composite note you get brief information regarding spooling and printing

if you want to configure printer in SAP on windows follow the steps.

1.Goto SPAD tcode and enter the Full Administration button

2. Then goto the Device/Server tab,over there you will find the field Output Devices and click the Dispaly button beside the field.

3. Now please click the change button,after that u will see a create button.

4. Please fill in the details

i. Output Device : ZLOCAL , Short name :LOCL

ii. Device Type : SAPWIN : Windows printing via SAPlpd

iii. Host Spool Access Method F: Printing on Front End Computer

iv. Host printer :__DEFAULT

if you want to use sapsprint instead of saplpd check following sap note

Note 821519 - Front-end printing with control technology

you marked out your question as answered.!!

you can see the sap notes in service.sap.com/notes ( S-user id and password required)

i already provide the steps to configure printer in SAP. it's very easy Why screen shot is required?

try to configure printer according that if you have and doubt please post your query in same thread and uncheck the question as answered
