SLD Configuration - Step by Step procedure

Hi,

Can someone please provide me the doucuments on SLD configurations(Creation of Business System,Technical system,Products and its version,Software componenet version and its versions and importing the same in IR) explaining the procedure step by step.Thks in advance.

Hi Thiyagarajan,

The following steps are to be followed in SLD.

1. Create a PRODUCT --> PRODUCT VERSION.

2. Create SOFTWARE COMPONENT --> SOFTWARE COMPNENT VERSION.

3. Create TECHNICAL SYSTEM (for SAP) (Assign the SCV)

4. Create BUSINESS SYSTEM (for Third party) (assign TS and SCV)

Hi Thagayarajan,

For the SLD Configuration u first need to have access to the SLD.

Go to T_code sxmb_ifr

then click on SLD

2. SLD Configuration stapes:

1go for create product and software component.

. Create product and software component 2. Create technical system and basis of technical system just make a business system.

Important thinks about Technical system. “System name” is system ID (SID) “installation number” can be found from R/3 system ->main Manu ->system->status. In client information just put the “client no” and “logical system name” just created in ALE configuration. In application server information just put the “instance no” is just system no which can be 00 to 99. And “message server no” which is 3600+ system no.

It is the whole settings on SLD now move on creating integration repository and integration directory for the scenario.
