Hi,

The best thing is to Copy every thing when ever you have the option of copying from a standard. But make sure you make the changes accordingly depending on your requirements.

There are certain things which you can only have Text ex:division. So here u need not copy from any standards. But when ever u have the details better to copy from the standard one. Ex: company code, sales org etc.

Note: The advantange of copying from the standard is it will automatically updates the copy control options and hence minimises the work and errors.

Cheers,

Anil.

Hi ivy:

All these like

Sales org

Distribution channel

Divison

Sales office

Shipping point

are defined by the SAP itself for various business scenarios, you can either copy them or create on your own basing on your requirement.

Any clarifications welcome
