Valid from date - Equipment - Dismantle date

Dear Experts,

Valid from date of the Equipment also changes when we dismantle equipment, suppose if we are changing func.loc of any equipment then valid from date should not change (i think so) but here it is getting changed (with the dismantle date, and we cant assign new func.loc. in the back date) ???
