'suspect' Database state

Dear All

after restore my sybase DB , it can't start up give me the below error :

Database 'XXX' cannot be opened. An earlier attempt at recovery marked it 'suspect'. Check the ASE errorlog for information as to the cause.

i detect that log is full 100% , when i try to truncate it give me the same issue

A successfull restore and or a log full situation does not lead to a suspect database. Also - you cant opena suspect database to performa a DUMP TRAN command.

For the root cause you will have to search the ASE error.log - at some point in time some eror happened why it was marked suspect.

Was there some fatal error during the restore of the database ?
