triggering of delivery

What triggers the system to do picking for a OUTBOUND DLIVERY. How the system comes to know that we have to do picking and then PGI. What settings are required so that the system will do sales order-delivery---pgi and no picking.

Remember : OVLP or relevant for picking check in delivery item category is not the answer we r looking for.

Hi Tushar,

wen u do the delivery-LF,

if u find userexit:MV45AFZZ.system check for the atleast one item has to enter.

if is there any item exits- then the control will be in Item category for this item line.

Item category is the only control-

still if you want to maintain ur own settings,

goto USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT

right a code in such a way-

if LIPSD_PKIMG eq space or

LIPSD_PKIMP eq "value"

then system should save the delivery doc.

consult ur abaper.

But ,I dont understand why you want the system shouldnt check for picking?
