I have created a info-record for materil and vendor combination and given Rs 200 as net price. Then i have created a purchase order with Rs 300 and selected info-record update in PO. But even after this price in info-record is not changing.
Can anybody calrify when the price of an info record will change?
in po all the conditions are time independdent that means there is no valididty for the condition except that of socument itself
but in case of info record all the codntions are time depn. that is validty is there so even if u mark the chek box of the info update in po still system will only update the price order history in me12 rather then changing the price in info recrod in condition screen
If you change the price in PO and info update is also checked. But the price will reflect only when you do GR & MIRO for that PO then only system will update the Purchase info record. Till then it will not change the price from old price.

Selecting InfoUpdate causes one of the following situations to occur:
If just one info record (with or without plant) exists, it is updated.
If no info record exists and "plant condition requirement" was specified in Customizing, an info record with plant is created. Otherwise, an info record without plant is created.
If two info records exist (that is, one info record with plant and one without plant) the info record with plant is updated.
You can specify that prices and conditions in purchasing info records are only allowed at plant level in the Purchasing IMG, under Conditions -> Define Condition Control at Plant Level.
