Hi all

while posting j1ih in other adjustment, BED is getting posted in PLA( While simulating it picks up the correct G/L ac , While saving it is picking PLA G/L ac.). Also E.cess and Hhecess get posted in RG23A. I want BED to be posted in RG23A which is the normal process. I am confused why it is posting in PLA.?

Can anyone throw some light on it?

Hi Yuvi,

In case of "other adjustment", it is like reversing the RG23A BED credit which you would have already taken. This is basically reversing the entry which you would have made in the RG23A reg.

In your case, I suppose that you are trying to reverse more than what is there in the register as credit.

Eg:

RG23A has a balance of say

BED - 10000

ECS - 3000

SHEC - 1000

If you are trying to reverse 11000/- from the BED, then the system will automatically try to take from PLA as BED does not have the suffiecient amounts.

So before doing the reversal, check if the BED has the balance to be reversed. If not then the system will take the balance from PLA which is logical.
