Object Linking in DMS

I need enable object linking of a document type to Asset master (object - ALNA). In the customising setting for the document type under "define object links", when i enter the object ALNA, no value defaults for "screen" . How do i find out the correct value for the field "screen" for this object?

Hi Anand,

In order to find the correct screen number,you just follow the instructuion given below..

1.) Goto SE80 - Object Navigator

2.) Open the Development class CV

3.) Expand the Function group 130.

4.) Expand Screens.

5.) There you can find the screens for all the "Objects".

For your case you can try with 1225 or 225 as a screen number.....

Hi,

Plz maintain following info in Maintain Key fields setting in SPRO

Table Name:ALNA

Transaction COde:AS03

Field Name:BUKRS

Screen No for Asset Master is 225

Then Assign to particular Document type, u can get Asset master object link in DIR
