Travel Management workflow

Hi Expert!

I am new in workflow scenario. My requirement is simple, I want when I create a plan trip (TP01,TP20 or TRIP) an automatic mail will generate to the manager of the employee booking the tour or to the assigned person.

Pl. guide me step wise so that I can do and get some knowledge and after that I can completed the next requirements.

Check in SWEL whether the respective event is being published. If yes then you need to check the settings IN SCOT Tcode whether it is properly configured

what kind of guidance you are looking for, why dont you help yourself, go and search forum with propr key word and you will find more than 10 hits for every key words.

any ways for travel busines object is BUS2089 and some workflow templates are WS20000040 WS1250001X, X = 4,6,7

PS: sorry for getting bit rude but there is waste of time to discuss/type same things more than 10 times (by different people who is really investing their vaulable time to solve issue), Also searching would be more useful for you as you will get some info which will give you more insight about topic.

Hi Jai

I have activated the BUS2089 object. But when I am booking my trip using tp01, trip assigned agent is not getting mail in his mail box.

Thats why I am asking any thing special which I am missing in configuration.

Biswajit,

You gotta book your trip from PR01 (I think BUS2089 event created triggers by only that tcode, not sure about tp01).

Hi!

I want that my user1 will book a trip and his superior will receive the request in sap mail. Superior will approve or reject the user1 will receive the mail in his sap mail mail box.

I have done the following

Under Travel Planning -> WS010000087->BUS2089 PLANCREATED

activated.

Assigned the Superior as agent in it .

I have enter my trip in TP01 But Superior is not getting any mail.

Now if I have to change any thing and checking anything pl. guide.

Plus check you WF log and the event log as Agardip has said.
