how to change BOM validity period (To date)

Hi,

I am not able to change the Header validity period of a BOM. I cant edit. Is that a config ? Is there any other solution?

Hi Shan,

U cannot edit the valid to and valid from dates untill and unless you are having ECN impleneted.

Thanks..ECN is implemented. I can not chnage even with a CHANGE number..When I goto CS02 with a change number, I cant edit. how do we change with ECN?

Hi Shan,

In any case you cannot edit the dates in BOM. Using change number you give the date in that change number, and the BOM will be exploded according to the defined date in the change number.

I went to change number transaction but I was not able to change the TO-DATE. I would like to put a BOM validity to a past date. Cuerrently it is having till year 9999.

Can u tell me exactly how we can do with ECN?

Hi SHAN,

Go to t.code "cc02". Just beside effectivity date field , you will see a icon. Click to that icon , you will see a date-lower limit and date-upper limit. Enter the dates you want and do not click the check box "date indicator".

It is not possible to change the header effectivity date. but if you use ECM, you can do that. Please come back if you want to know about ECM

I could not see how to change the Validity-TO date in CC02. My validity-to date is coming as 9999 .

I see putting future date for "Validity-from " date as an option. This I can do in CC02 ; Date From (Shift Date option)
