Notifications with ODS (DSO)

Dear experts,

I’m planning to use the Notifications infocube (0QM_C10) with the 2LIS_18_I0NOTIF datasource, in BW 7.0 connected to SAP ECC 6.0.

I need to use an ODS/DSO to keep track of changes in individual items, but the standard solution doesn’t have one. I tried searching for alternative solutions in the internet but I didn’t find any.

Did anyone use an ODS/DSO with Notifications before?

Hi,

you could simply create a ODS /DSO containing all objects of the cube and use the IS to load the data into the cube. One important fact you should not forget is to use the delta-function instead of "overwrite" when writing data into the ODS /DSO.
