How to Change a Fiscal Year in SAP

Hello:

Our company is changing it fiscal year, and we probably will need to create a short FY, in between the old and the new fiscal year.

I would really apreciate if anyone can send some information about the procedure and consecuences of changing the fiscal year, notes, etc.
