UDF Item Master Data -- Super User/Full Permission unable to enter data

My company's Business One guru advises that my B1 password is setup with "full permissions." However, I am unable to update or add info to some of the UDFs associated with the Item Master Data screen. There are 19 UDFs associated with the Item Master Data screen. Fifteen of 19 are shaded (e.g., I cannot enter info or change info in the shaded fields).

Any ideas how to resolve? Thank you, JG
