to get changed data for moving average price

Hi friends,

I have a requirement where the changed value of the moving average price for a material needs to be sent at the end of the day as a batch process(nightly job).

Can I use change pointers for this .I am very new to Change pointers....Can anyone help me as it is an emergency requirement.

I need the values only for those materials only for which the moving average price is changed and need the latest value to b sent in a nightly scheduled job.

Also if any other method is possible can u just mention ....

If change pointers r used can u give me the complete explanation...plzzz
