Dear all,

i would like to ask you about one point. I have similar question like in "

Single Sales Order Multipler Production order " but i didn't find exact answer to my issue. I also have sales order. For example 2000m. I have to confirm planned order and create one production order with total qty 2000m. When order should go to production i have to split those 2000m into 40m long orders. So i have to manually create 50 production orders. It's possible somehow create 50 orders in one step ? Thanks BR Dalibor Kozusnik

Hello

You could explore the lot sizing procedures available and let MRP create those 40m planned orders to fulfill your requirement.

Hi Caetano,

You are right, for example lot size FS with rounding value 40 does the trick and creates separate planned orders each with 40.

Hi Dalibor,

One option would be to let MRP generate a planned order for 2000m for you. Then copy the planned order number and enter it into CO48 and tick the partial conversion indicator. Set the target quantity to 40m and click on the new entries button. Then you may enter multiple rows with 40m and click on generate (the rest of the fields will be filled automatically) and then save. You may see the multiple production orders in MD04.

Or you could ask the shop floor to do partial confirmation for every 40m produced for a single production order.
