Hi Experts,
Is it possible to convert / display date (mm/dd/yyyy) format to YYYYMMDD in BEx using any of the exising functions?
If so how can acheive this.
hi ,
You could do this by changing the setting in TCODE : SU01
in defaults tab , here you have a option to change your date format , but this will reflect in all your queries ,
Hope this helps ,
Thanks ,

Hi Sathya,
I need this only in query. I do not want to change the systems settings which will influence all the queries.
The reason is, my Overall Result for the difference between two dates is displayed in YYYYMMDD format.
So, I was planning to display the dates in all the rows in the same format for calculation purpose.
As the overall result is in YYYYMMDD format, I am not able to use it in calculations.
Please let me know how
Hi,
I guess you need to do this setting after executing the report in BEx excel sheet.
You can use Excel properties for doing this..
Format(Menu tab) -> Cells -> Number -> Date
here you select the date format as you want
Hope it helps
