BPM SendAcknowledgment

Hello Guru's

I have a BPM and it starts with the following:

1. Receive step. Which receives the message from a party.

2. I want to send out an Acknowledgement back.

For step 2 I created a Send step with mode: Acknowledgement for Message MI_AA_Request (this is the message interface I used in the receive step.) The acknowledgement type is positive.

When I send a message to the BPM I don not see the send back in my PE. Is there a special reason for it or should I see that step back in mij monitor?
