Hi there,
If we maintain the MRP type as Forecast-based planning.... then after we execute forecasting in t-code MP30... how can we convert the forecast qty in Production or process order.......
Regards
Kaushik
Check if the forecasted requirements appear in MD04. If yes run MRP. Then the forecast requirements would create planned orders.

hi
For forecast based planning MRP type shold be "VV" and consumption data sholud be maintained in forecast view in mat master . Run forecast wih MP38 and check the forecast req in MD04.Run MRP an Planned orders will be generated.
MRP run will not consider any PIR or sales orders in this MRP Type , it will only consider the forecast requiremnt.

Hi,
After executing Forecast , see the forecast values
Then , in MD61 , from the menu choose - Planned indep Reqmts - reference - select the radio button : material forecast
Copy forecast values screen will pop up .
In that , if you want to change the reference values enter the percentage , duration (months) etc...
Now the forecast values will be copied into the table, which you can see.
Then run MRP and proceed as usual.
Regards,
Sheik
