Hi,

MR21 is normally used if there is very high appeciation / depreciation in material value. This is to keep the inventory value close to market value.

And also in case of the standard price, it need to reviced on timely basis as the price may increase or decrease in over a period of time.

And also correct price ( market price) in material master , helps in correct Product costing

Hi,

T.code:MR21 use to change the price of material, if you have a stock means no problem because in the OBYC T code Cost (price) differences- PRD u have to give the G/L account and that value goes to that account. System does not allow changing the price in MM02 Transaction. So you must do it in MR21 only.

Dear Harshad,

it's for revaluation of material.you can use it for FERT material type also.we use like nowadays steel price in hike.if your material is made by steel it will effect the price of FERT also.it's a FI t-code,so before use please consult with for FI dept.

MR21- is for changing the material price.

You are not able to change the price of the material as alaready cost estimate is planned for the material, you will not be able to change the material price unless it is deleted.

Use Trxn CKR1 to delete the Cost Estimate..

First do it in testing client before doing in PRD client..

2.stock of material exist then how i change material price ? is in MM02 or MR21 ?

here i check the cost estimate for current price in material master( costing 2).it is not exist the why this error comes?

This error comes only if a cost estimate is present. go to CKR1 & do the delete data in test run.
