Dear Gurus,
i am creating a PO with referance to PR and the text in the materail master is flowing from PR to PO.
But there is a small button at the bottom of the text called as adopt and until we click that button it is not coming in the printout.
but my user says that sometimes he forgets to click it and it is not coming in the printout which is making problem for him.
so he wants the text to come automatically in the PO printout without clicking the adopt button.
as per the standard SAP we have to click it to come in the print out. so gurus pls calrify whether i need to tell this to ABAPer or is there any config settings 4 it...
or i am wrong with the standrads of SAP..
they r using output type as NEU
thanks in advance.
regards
arabind
You probably have a star * in the copy rules for this text.
Go into Customizing IMG > MM > Purchasing > PO > Texts for purchase orders > Copy rules ..
Select the texttype, then doubleclick the subfolder on the left.
Make sure that there is no entry in column FIX

focus on your problem, which was that the text is not printed when you forget to click the adopt button.
For thsi we gave the solution, remove the * from fixed field in customizing.
The print preview is not really what we expect, it is by design that it shows too much or to few info. SAP has issued a note about this: 358680 - MEPO: Missing data in the print preview
