Classification for Water pollution and Plastics

Hello Experts,

Happy new year!

I have a question regarding the classification of certain regulations and the class/classifications for Hazard substance management .

1. Water pollution class- As per my understanding the class is WGK with classifications WGK1,WGK2 etc. Which Class in specification data base should i define this Class and classification? Do we have a standard class available( this for Germany).

2. Plastics- I am not sure of this regulation. However ,from some articles i found there are some classifications CUP,CEP,UUP,UEP .I am not sure if these are the correct classification for Plastics or not. We need the classification for storage of products. Also which Class in property tree i need to map this class and its classification? Do we have any standard SAP class where we can map the data?

Hi George,

Yes WGK Classification Property is available in the Standard property tree

for Item 2 please check NFPA related classification node under property tree,

You may need to check how you want to classify and maintain additional properties like I) Typical Uses, ii) Toxicity iii) Recyclability iv) Alternative Substance and v) Remarks.
